Monday Update!

Today's appointment went perfectly! They stopped checking my cervix as of the last appt, so who knows what's going on with that! But Dr. M. said that he believes my cervix concerns are ancient history. He really thinks that I'm in it for the long run and will make it till August!

We had an ultrasound to check the weights of the babies, and both are still growing strong! Our boy weighs 4 pounds 3 ounces, while our girl weighs 3 pounds 11 ounces. We tried to get some more 3D pictures, but since they are so big and fighting for space, we didn't get anything great. They are smooshed in there!

The other great news is they are both still vertex, so the likelihood of a natural delivery, instead of a section, looks great. He's still going to keep the August 12th date booked, just in case. We asked if I would be induced if we make it till then and they are still head down, and his answer was maybe. I'm not really sure how to take that. I guess they'll sort of wait and see. I know they will not let me go past 38 weeks and August 12th is only 2 days shy of that. We'll see!

Of course, my next question was, "when can I get off bed rest??". He said at my next appt, 2 weeks from today, I can start living life again! YEA! I'll be a little over 34 weeks and at that point, they will let nature take it's course. Right now, if I were to go into labor, they would still try to stop it. After 34 weeks, they will not.
