HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

I hope you're all enjoying the day! Ours started off with a breakfast visit with my Mom and Dad on their way up to the cottage. Hans made us some eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes... you name it! And it was delish, of course! Then I hung out in my lounge chair in the garage while Hans built some shelving and refinished the changing table. I'll post some pictures once it's in the babies room, but it came out beautifully. Then I cheated and went to Babies R Us. Hans had to go to Home Depot so I went for the ride and talked him into stopping at BRU. We grabbed a wheel chair and off we went! We looked like fools, but once I got over the awkwardness of shopping in a wheel chair, we had fun! So my 4th wasn't a bust at all!

For my fellow readers out there, I just finished reading a book I highly recommend. It's called The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs. The NY Times said it perfectly... "It's like Steel Magnolias set in Manhattan".
It's up for grabs if anyone wants to borrow it.
