Hi all,
For those of you who don't know, Hans and I are having TWINS! It's been a long road, as most of you know, but this makes it so worth every mile of it! This was our 3rd try at IVF.
We found out the news on Christmas Eve! It can't get much better than that. Or so I thought... we went back on New Year's Eve, our anniversary, and found out that it was a very strong pregnancy and that everything was looking GREAT! At this point, I knew it might be more than one. My numbers were off the charts!
So, we went for our first ultrasound on January 9th and my suspicions were confirmed ~ 2 babies with 2 beautiful heartbeats! I think my 2nd thought was "thank goodness it's not 3"!
So, what better way to keep you all informed about our pregnancy than a blog!
Yesterday we met with our new OB and were able to see the twins again! It was truly amazing. Baby A, who I think might be a boy, was VERY active and actually waved at us! It was such a special moment and I'm so glad Hans and I were both there to see it. I know there will be many more moments like this so bear with me!
Our next appointment is on February 19th for the NT Scan and I can't wait already. Guess who's coming? Mom and Lana! (Poor Hans).
