Click on this link ~ it will take you to my sister's blog where she posted some pics she took of Maddie and Will yesterday. Perfection is right! Or if this link doesn't work, look down and to the left and click on Bee's View...

They're doing so well! At their last pediatrician appointment, they had both gained 4 ounces in 2 days! And there I was thinking they weren't getting enough milk from me... I guess I was wrong!
Mom is exhausted ~ nursing is a challenge, lack of sleep is not fun, heck... even swaddling at 3AM is next to impossible! And Dad is working his way through the flu, or some nasty stomache bug, poor guy. Life with twins is nothing short of interesting! But we wouldn't change a thing!

Pictures!
This is probably the lazy way to do this, but copy and paste the link below to view some pictures of the big day! They take you into the OR with me (with a twin birth they deliver in the OR, just in case a C-Section is needed. Thank goodness I didn't need it!), but I promise there's nothing too graphic! Enjoy!

INDUCTION TOMORROW!!!
I can't believe the day has finally come! We will be parents tomorrow!!!
We went in for our appt. this afternoon and it was basically the same deal as Monday. My BP was high so they sent us back up to Labor and Delivery for monitoring. Yadda yadda... the doc finally came in and said we could induce! So we decided to come home, try to get a good nights sleep and head back in tomorrow morning... bright and early at 6am!
So, this is the last you'll hear from me as a DINK (Double Income No Kids!). Hans will update everyone when the babies are here! Think good thoughts for an easy delivery!

What a Day! Monday Update...
My day began with scary, but what turned out to be wonderful news. Lindsey welcomed 2 boys and a girl into the world! Everyone is doing well ~ Ava, Brice and Ronan. Congrats Dave and Lindsey!
Next, Hans and I drove to my 2:30pm appointment. My Non-Stress Test was unremarkable, so off we went to see the doc. My blood pressure was high so the doc gave us 2 options ~ go home, but on your way out, have some bloodwork done and return the next day. Or, go up to Labor and Delivery and have the same bloodwork done, as well as have my pressure monitored over a period of time. This is what we chose and boy do I regret it. My blood levels were normal, we waited 2 hours for an ultrasound, and I had too many people poke and prode me. We didn't get home until 2 in the morning. Poor Hans had to sit in an uncomfortable chair the entire time. So, the deal is, I'm between 3 and 4cm dilated and ready to give birth! I also need to watch my blood pressure and for certain signs of Pre-Eclampsia. I go back in Wednesday for another U/S and pressure check.

36 Weeks!
Doesn't that look comfy??
Do you all remember me crying to you, begging for your prayers that I make it at least to 28 weeks? Holy Moses! I never in a million years thought I would still be pregnant at 36 weeks. Don't get me wrong... I'm thrilled that I'll be giving birth to 2 beautifully healthy babies! But oh my goodness. Life is getting more and more difficult as I continue to grow! I'm so ready to meet these 2. And so is my body! Ouch!
